**Phulbani:** True love persists regardless of the boundaries made by nations was proved by Ima Lore Bhoit from Sweden who married her longtime boyfriend Mohammad Azharuddin from Phulbani in Odisha’s Kandhamal district on Saturday.
Ima had met Azharuddin way back in 2011 during her visit to Goa as a tourist and gradually they fell in love. After returning to her country, both of them kept in touch over social media and later in 2012 Azharuddin left his job in Goa and joined Ima’s company in Sweden.
Gradually they decided to spend their lives together and with permission of their families tied the nuptial knots here. The marriage ceremony had guests both from Sweden and Azharuddin’s native place.
Dressed in Indian attire, the Swedish guests were seen dancing to the tunes of local beats. The marriage of Ima and Azharuddin was done as per Muslim wedding traditions.
