Kendrapara: Once again the old adage that love transcends all barriers-age, gender, caste, religion, et al has been proved to be correct.
Sixty-three-year-old Saktipada Mistri of Guludia village of Mahakalpada block in Kendrapara district tied the knot with 67-year-old Tejeswari Mandal.
Both work as farm hands and are engaged in cutting paddy to earn their bread.
They met in the paddy fields and after a few meetings, love flourished between the two.
And now, very recently they went for a traditional marriage defying opposition from family members and diktats of the society.
