Koraput: In a shocking incident, a young unmarried couple ended life by suicide after their families refused to solemnize their marriage Jodipai village under Chanabad panchayat under Dasmantpur police station of Koraput district.
Mahendra Hikka and his girlfriend Yuvanti Muska of the same village killed themselves by hanging from a tree in a mango orchard.
Villagers found them hanging from the tree with a stole and informed others.
Meanwhile, people gathered there and informed the police.
Police seized the bodies for post-mortem.
According to reports, both were in a relationship and wanted to marry. Family members of the couple disapprove their relationship.
