Bhubaneswar: A Low Pressure Area lies over southwest Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood and the associated cyclonic circulation extends upto mid tropospheric level.
It is likely to move westwards during the next two days. A trough in easterlies runs from the cyclonic circulation associated with this Low Pressure Area to Northwest Bay of Bengal.
Under the influence of the above systems:
(i) Heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated/few places very likely over Tamilnadu and isolated heavy rainfall over Kerala & Mahe during 28th Oct.-01st November 2021.
(ii) Heavy rainfall at isolated places very likely over Coastal Andhra Pradesh during 28th Oct to 01st Nov with isolated very heavy falls on 29th October 2021. Heavy rainfall at isolated places very likely over Coastal and South Interior Karnataka during 30th-31st and over Rayalaseema during 29th-30th October 2021.
(iii) Thunderstorm & lightning very likely over Kerala & Mahe, Tamilnadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during 28th Oct-01st Nov and over Coastal & South Interior Karnataka during 30th Oct-01st November 2021.
Mainly dry weather is very likely to prevail over most parts of Northwest, West & Central India and many parts of East & Northeast India during the next 5 days.
