Low Pressure Area Likely Over South Andaman Sea Today

Bhubaneswar: A Low Pressure Area is likely to form over south Andaman Sea during the next 12 hours, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday.

The system is likely to move west- northwestwards & concentrate into a Depression over Southeast & adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal during subsequent 48 hours.

It is likely to trigger rainfall in north coastal Odisha, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Dhenkanal, and over one or two places in the rest of the districts.

Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur in Gajapati, Ganjam, and Puri from December 3 to December 4.
