Bhubaneswar: A Low Pressure Area likely to form over Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal during the next 24 hours under the influence of a cyclonic circulation over the same region, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday.
Squally winds with speed reaching 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph is very likely over southern parts of Southwest Bay of Bengal on March 15 and 16. In view of this fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas during the period.
