Low Pressure Brewing In Bay Of Bengal, IMD Sounds Fishermen Alert
Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning for fishermen on Odisha coasts not to venture into the sea for the next three days.
According to the IMD, a low pressure is brewing in over North & adjoining Central Bay of Bengal. This system is very likely to trigger squally weather with surface wind speed reaching 40-50kmph.
North & adjoining WestCentral Bay of Bengal off Odisha coast is very likely to be affected during 6th and 7th September.
“Fishermen are advised not to venture into sea of North & adjoining WestCentral Bay of Bengal off Odisha coast during 6th and 7th September, 2021,” the Met Department warned.
