Maha Shivratri To Be Held Amid COVID Restrictions At Lingaraj Temple

Bhubaneswar: The Maha Shivratri will be held amid COVID-19 restrictions at Lingaraj Temple in the city this year. Khurda Collector held a meeting with the Lingaraj Temple trust board on Friday following which the decision was taken to observe the rituals of Maha Shivratri with strict adherence to COVID protocols, like last year. The ‘Mahadipa’, will be raised atop Lingaraj Temple at 10 pm on March 1, the day on which Shivratri falls this year, reports stated.
