Dhenkanal: Gondia police today arrested Baba Dasarathi Behera, Mahant of Chaitanya Mutt of Mandara village under Gondia block in Dhenkanal district on charges of murder.
Accused Behera has been forwarded to court.
According to reports, Behera was arrested after he confessed to having murdered Uddhav Patra, a scrap collector of Bhuban on Wednesday.
Bludgeoned body of Uddhav was found dead in the premises of the mutt on Wednesday.
