Bhubaneswar: The Mahila police here have arrested a doctor posted at AIIMS, Bhubaneswar on charges of duping a lady on the pretext of marriage. According to reports, the woman had come to Bhubaneswar for the treatment of her father during which she came in contact with the aforementioned doctor.
According to the complaint, the doctor allegedly forced her into a relationship, aborted her pregnancy, and threatened her of dire consequences. On the basis of her complaint, the Commissionerate of Police registered an FIR and have arrested the doctor. Further investigation is on.
