Bhubaneswar: Many dignitaries and devotees of the Mahima sect today called on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at his residence here.
They welcomed the initiative for renovation programme of Joranda Peeth and thanked the Chief Minister for sanctioning funds for the same.
It is worth noting that on May 29, Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian visited the Joranda Peeth and advised the District Collector to propose its complete renovation.
On June 15, the Chief Minister sanctioned Rs 112 crores for this on the basis of the proposal of the District Collector.
