Maiden Jharsuguda-Varanasi Flight Takes Off

Jharsuguda: The maiden flight via Alliance Air, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Air India connecting Jharsuguda and Varanasi has begun its journey today.

Taking off from Varanasi at 8.40 am, the flight landed at Veer Surendra Sai Airport (VSSA) and left Jharsuguda at 10.45 am, said Jharsuguda Airport’s Director Sudesh Kumar Chauhan. He added that non-stop flight connecting Jharsuguda and Mumbai from March 28 via SpiceJet Airlines.

The one-stop flight going through Bhubaneswar takes 3 hours and 20 minutes to complete its journey one-way. The all-inclusive one-way fares of Jharsuguda-Varanasi and vice versa are starting at Rs 5,676.
