Main Accused In Bharatpur Group Clash In Bhubaneswar Nabbed From Kandhamal

Bhubaneswar: Police on Sunday arrested the main accused in the Bharatpur group clash in Bhubaneswar during the last from Kandhamal. The main accused has been identified as Subhrajit Pradhan alias Malinga.

It is worth mentioning here that a major group clash took place in the Bharatpur area on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar during the Durga Puja festivities. A group of armed miscreants attacked a local OYO hotel, thrashed its owner Sajan brutally, and threw him from the second floor of the hotel. Sajan sustained severe injuries in the attack, while the miscreants fled the spot with the hotel CCTV hard disc.

According to Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh, Malinga has been absconding since the incident. “On Sunday, Bharatpur police were successful in nabbing him from Kandhamal and we expect to nab the remaining miscreants soon,” he said.
