Major Fire Breaks Out At Bhubaneswar Apartment; No Casualties Reported

Bhubaneswar: A massive fire broke out at an apartment building at Patia Square in Bhubaneswar on early Thursday morning.

The incident occurred in flat no-508 on the 8^th floor, triggering heavy smoke. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported, thanks to the prompt action of the residents who alerted fire brigade officials.

Upon being informed, fire brigade officials rushed to the spot and made efforts to douse the flame. Fire tender officials reportedly evacuated residents of the apartment safely.

Though exact reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained, residents suspect that the blaze was triggered by a blast in the air conditioner.

Till the last report came in, it was learnt that the firefighting team managed to bring the fire under control.
