Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government today effected a major reshuffle in bureaucratic level. A notification has been issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department in this regard.
As per the notification, Temjenwapang Ao, Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Southern Division), Berhampur is appointed as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Public Enterprises Department.
Srikanta Prusty, Special Secretary to Government, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department is appointed as Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Northern Division), Sambalpur.
Chief Administrator, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration, Ranjan Kumar Das has been transferred and appointed as Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Central Division), Cuttack. He will also remain in additional charge of Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Southern Division), Berhampur.
Puri Collector Samarth Verma was appointed as Additional Chief Administrator, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration.
The notification stated that the post of Additional Chief Administrator, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Additional Secretary to Government provided in the IAS Cadre of the State.
