Industry Secretary Sanjeev Chopra said, “This is the first single window committee after the MIO Conclave. For the last three-four months those industries who had expressed their willingness to invest in Odisha shows the level of interest and enthusiasm from them across the country. Previously such numbers of applications have never been considered in single window. Last Monday, the Chief Minister had instructed us to ground investment of Rs 1.5 lakh crore in three years in Odisha. This is the small beginning in that direction.”
