Nayagarh: Having an affair with a married woman proved costly for a Cuttack-based insurance agent. The person in question is Shailendra Jena who was having an affair with a ‘Dahibara’ seller Dipu’s wife Sunita, belonging to Mahipur in Nayagarh district.
After Dipu came to know about this illicit relationship, he fought with Jena and shifted with his wife to Nayagarh. However, the relationship between Sunita and her paramour continued over messages from Dipu’s phone, which the latter came to know.
Few days back, she had called Jena to Nuagaon in Nayagarh to meet. Though he came to Nayagarh with a friend, Jena went missing and did not return home to Cuttack. In this matter, Jena’s wife has filed a police complaint against Dipu and Sunita.
Sources said, Jena has been murdered and his body disposed of by Dipu. However, the police remain tight-lipped and said that matter will be revealed after the completion of investigation.
Meanwhile, the police have detained Sunita and an associate of Dipu while the latter is untraceable.
