Man Allegedly Strangles Wife To Death, Abandons Body At Hospital

Bhubaneswar: A man allegedly strangled his wife to death following a quarrel on Sunday night and fled after abandoning her body at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar.

The deceased has been identified as Nandita Behera, wife of the accused Gupteswar Behera.

According to reports, a heated argument between Gupteswar and his wife, Nandita, on Sunday night allegedly turned deadly. According to family members, the couple’s verbal altercation escalated, and Gupteswar strangled Nandita to death.

Gupteswar took his wife’s body to Capital Hospital, where he allegedly abandoned it and fled the scene. The matter came to the fore after Nandita’s family brought murder allegations against Gupteswar.
