Bhubaneswar: In a gruesome incident, a man was stabbed to death with an axe by his neighbour Saura Bikrampur village under Padmapur police station area in Rayagada district.
Panda Sabar, a resident of the village, allegedly stabbed his neighbour, Chaitanya Sabar, to death. The accused surrendered himself to the Padmapur police station after committing the crime.
According to reports, the incident occurred when Chaitanya Sabar was sitting with his family at noon. Panda Sabar and his son allegedly attacked him with an axe, resulting in his death. The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.
