Balasore: In a bizarre incident, a man bit a cobra to death after he was bitten by the latter today while he was cutting grass in his field in Darda village under Basta block in Balasore district.
Salim Khan of Darda village was cutting grass in his farmland today in the forenoon when he was bitten by a cobra on his leg.
He has claimed to have caught hold of the cobra and bit it to take revenge.
Later, Salim was seen moving on a bicycle with the dead snake coiled around his neck.
“While I was cutting grass in the field the snake bit me on my leg, I caught hold of it in my fist and bit it on its neck. We don’t cremate so I am going to bury it,” said Salim to reporters who were curious to hear his story.
