Man Comes In Contact With Electric Snare For Wild Boar Hunting In Koraput, Electrocuted  

Koraput: One person died of electrocution in Khadaput village under Padwa police limits in Koraput district today after coming in contact with a trap with live wire for hunting wild boars.

The deceased has been identified as Jagannath Guntha of Khadaput village.

Padwa police have detained three persons Shiva Pujari, Rama Khara, and Gobardhan Tangul in this connection.

The three had allegedly set up the trap with a live wire.

Police have also deployed their scientific team to help in the investigation.

According to reports, deceased Jagannath, who engaged as a driver of earthmoving equipment in road construction work from Gamelput to Pradhanput along with his friend Bibhisan had gone to sell kerosene.

Both consumed liquor on the way. While returning Jagannath wanted to hide the kerosene jar near a culvert.

But as bad luck would have it he came in contact with the live wire leading to his death instantaneously.
