**Bolangir: ** In a gruesome incident, a man allegedly committed suicide after he hacked his wife to death with an axe over a domestic quarrel on Sunday night. The fateful incident took place at Bhalumunda village under Bangomunda police limits of Bolangir district.
The body of the man was identified as Kapurchand Bichha.
According to reports, he was found hanging from roof using a ‘gamucha’ in a room adjacent to the veranda while his wife Kaikai Bachha was found lying on the floor in a pool of blood in another room inside the house
According to sources, an argument ensued between the couple which enraged him and he hacked her in a fit of anger. After killing his wife, he allegedly killed himself.
The police has reached the spot and started its investigation into the matter.
