Cuttack: A man released his confession video and surrendered before police after murdering five persons including his elder brother, the latter’s wife, and children at Kusupur village under Mahanga police limits in Cuttack.
As stated by the accused identified as Siba Sahu in the video, he was at loggerheads with his elder brother over some family dispute. After being attacked by his elder brother Alekh Sahu and his family last night, he lost self-control and murdered them.
The deceased persons are Alekh’s wife Rashmi, daughter Payal, and two sons Gudu and Tubuku. All have been hacked to death with a sharp weapon.
Today morning, he realised his mistake and surrendered at the nearest Balichandrapur Police Station in Jajpur district. He said that he will accept whatever punishment is given out to him.
