Man Critically Injured In Brutal Attack In Cuttack Village

Cuttack: A man was critically injured after being brutally attacked by three persons at Sindhupur village under Bhadreswar police station in Cuttack district on Saturday.

The victim, identified as Sushant Jena, sustained severe head injuries after being struck with a stone.

According to reports, Jena was allegedly attacked by Rukmini Behera, a supporter of the Mahanga MLA, along with three associates while he was carrying milk. The assailants reportedly assaulted him before hitting his head with a stone.

Upon witnessing the incident, locals rescued him while he was in critical condition and admitted him to the Mahanga Community Health Center (CHC).

Following the incident, Jena filed a complaint at Bhadreswar police station.

Acting on the complaint, police reached the spot and have launched an investigation into the matter.
