Keonjhar: A man died after an elephant crashed through the wall of his house in search of food. Such an incident has occurred at Raikudar village under Ghatagaon block of Keonjhar district on Monday.
The deceased identified as Rabi Mahanta was fast asleep with his wife when the elephant crashed through the wall. As a result, the wall collapsed on Rabi.
He was rushed in a critical condition to Ghatagaon Community Health Centre (CHC) where he was declared dead. After getting information, forest department has initiated a probe into the matter.
