Jharigaon(Nabarangpur): A 45-year-old man drowned in the Bhaskel river at Tendakaguda village under Umerkote police limits in Jharigaon block of Nabarangpur district on Tuesday while he had gone for a wash.
The deceased has been identified as Thabir Bhatra of Tendakaguda village.
According to reports, today Thabir like on other days after attending to nature’s call had gone into Bhaskel river near his village Tendakaguda for a wash.
However, due to carelessness Thabir slipped and drowned in the river.
His body was seen floating in the river.
On being informed, Umerkote police after registering an unnatural death case, seized the body and sent it to Umerkote Community Health Centre for autopsy.
