Bhubaneswar: A man was electrocuted while attempting to repair a water pump at his residence in Bhaganai village under Ramachandrapur police limits in Keonjhar district on Thursday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Subrat Kumar Sahoo.
According to reports, Subrat was carrying out repairs on the water pump when he accidentally came in contact with a live electrical wire. He died on the spot.
On being informed, Ramachandrapur police reached the spot and initiated an investigation into the incident.
