Puri: A man died after jumping from the Atharnala Bridge in Puri district on Tuesday.
The identity of the deceased has not been confirmed yet.
According to reports, the fire brigade was alerted after a call was made to the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) 112.
The fire brigade quickly arrived at the scene, rescued the man, and rushed him to the Puri District Headquarter Hospital (DHH).
Unfortunately, upon arrival, the doctor declared him dead.
Local residents believe the man may have been wandering near the bridge and could have lost his mental balance.
