Deogarh: A body was found in Dandasingha village under Barkote police station in Deogarh district. The deceased is identified as Sankar Dehuri, a local resident.
According to reports, Sankar had gone to Basupali weekly market on Friday evening but didn’t return home. His body was found on Saturday morning on roadside of Dandasingha-Baliroi, with his bicycle lying on top.
Meanwhile, family members of the deceased alleged foul play, claiming Sankar was murdered on his way back from the market. However, it’s unclear whether it was a murder or an accident.
Upon being informed, police have arrived at the scene and begun an investigation to determine the cause of death.
