Kendrapara: A man went missing after a crocodile dragged him into Hansua River in front of his wife near Dakhinabheda village under Rajanagar block in Kendrapara district on Friday.
As per reports, Nimai Mallick along with his wife had gone to the river to water his farmland using irrigation system when the crocodile dragged him to water.
Though his wife tried to save Nimai from the clutches of crocodile, it went in vain. She rushed to villagers and family members and informed them to save Nimai. However, villagers failed to trace Nimai.
On a tip-off, fire brigade officials reached the spots and started a search operation for Nimai
