Man Hacks Wife To Death In Front Of Polling Booth In Bhadrak, Detained

Bhadrak: In a shocking incident, a man allegedly hacked his wife to death in front of a polling booth in Bhadrak district on Saturday.

The deceased woman has been identified as Rashmirekha Behera.

According to reports, the ghastly incident occurred in front of polling booth number 4 of Muktadihi village in Kaupur panchayat under Bhadrak Rural police station.

Following a dispute with her husband, Rashmirekha was staying with her parents at Jiragambhira village.

While Rashmirekha had come to the polling booth along with her uncle to cast her vote, she was attacked by her husband Prabhakar Rout with a sharp weapon.

Bhadrak Rural police have detained Prabhakar.
