Baripada: Angry villagers set ablaze an SUV after it crushed a man under its wheels at Radho village under Udala police limits in Mayurbhanj district today evening.
The deceased person has been identified as Rabindra Patra, a native of Radho village.
According to reports, the driver of the SUV managed to flee the spot after the accident.
Tension prevailed in the area following the accident as villagers blocked the road.
On being informed, Udala police and local Fire Service personnel rushed to the spot.
While Fire Service personnel doused the blaze, police have launched an inquiry into the incident.
