Ganjam: In a heartbreaking incident a man died when he was coming to see his dead sister at MKCG Medical College and Hospital on Thursday evening.
According to sources, Sandhya Behera was rushed to Sub-divisional Hospital in Ganjam after she complained of labour pain. However, she died while undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, Sandhya’s family members held hospital authorities responsible for her death. They claimed that Sandhya died due to medical negligence on the part of doctors. Also, they accused the doctors of shifting Sandhya to MKCG Medical College and Hospital even after her death.
On the other hand, Sabhya’s siblings, who were on their way to the hospital to see their dead sister, met with a road mishap. The road accident led to the death of Sandhya’s brother.
Babula Behra aged 40 was killed in the mishap on the spot while her sister Sandhya’s sister Anhali Behera is battling with life at the hospital.
The death of siblings has sent shockwaves in the locality.
