Bhubaneswar: A person allegedly killed his elder brother at Samei Guda village under Aska police limits in Ganjam district over a land dispute, on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Raju Patra.
According to reports, Raja and Bhobini had a long-standing feud over the division of their ancestral land. The dispute turned deadly when Bhobini attempted to poison Raju’s wife. When Raju intervened, the altercation led to a violent confrontation. Bhobini, along with his wife and son Papun allegedly attacked Raju with a sharp weapon, killing him on the spot.
Meanwhile, Aska police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
