Rourkela : In a gory incident, a man allegedly killed his five-year-old son following a spat with his wife in Rourkela today morning. The incident was reported from the Sitalpada slum area of Steel City on the wee hours of Saturday.
Sources said, the man was involved in an argument with his wife after which the latter left home. Enraged over the quarrel, he killed the baby and hung the body which was discovered by the woman after she returned home.
The local police have registered a case in this matter and detained the accused father. The body of the deceased has been sent for autopsy.
