Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, a man was allegedly killed by his uncle over a property-related dispute in Ainlasari village, coming under the jurisdiction of Puintala police, Bolangir district, on Thursday.
The deceased man has been identified as Sameer Bhue, who was killed by his paternal uncle, Kalia Bhue, after an altercation over a land-related dispute.
According to reports, Sameer and Kalia were involved in a prolonged dispute over the distribution of land, which often led to fights between them.
Enraged by the ongoing dispute, Kalia attacked and killed his nephew on Thursday.
Police officials have started investigating the matter after learning about the incident.
