Koraput: A gruesome murder has taken place near Dhanibalsa village under Khatapoda panchayat under Baipariguda police limits here on Friday night.
One Mahadev Khara of Dhanibalsa village was axed to death by unidentified miscreants, according to a police complaint filed by his wife Manguli Khara.
Mahadev, said sources, was practicing witchcraft which was the reason behind the murderous attack. the miscreants are on the run while a manhunt has been launched to nab them.
