Man Run Over By Train While Crossing Tracks In Balasore

Balasore: A tragic train accident claimed the life of a young man near Baraisahi in Soro of Balasore district on Saturday.

The victim, a resident of Jaleswar, had been living in a rented house near Balasore and working as a painter. According to reports, he had gone to the market to buy chicken and was hit by a speeding freight train while crossing the tracks.

The incident occurred this evening, and the young man died on the spot. Railway staff reached the scene after receiving information about the accident. The identity of the victim could not be confirmed at the time of filing the report. The local police are investigating the matter further.
