Bhubaneswar: A man ran his car over his in-laws in a fit of rage at Burla in Sambalpur district on Monday.
The incident occured as the man was enraged over a discussion with his father-in-law and brother-in-law, residents of Talcher.
The car after injuring the duo, rammed into the boundary wall of the Superintendent of Police’s residence.
The man was pulled out of the car and beaten black and blue by locals. His brother-in-law sustained serious injuries and was shifted to the hospital.
Burla police rushed to the spot and conducted an inquiry. A case has been registered in this connection, reports stated.
