Koraput: A man was brutally stabbed to death on Wednesday at Duntiguda village under B.Singhpur police limits of Koraput district.
The deceased has been identified as Purna Penthia.
Accused belonging to the same village has been identified as Purna Nayak.
According to reports, while Penthia was on a visit to his relative’s house in the village he was suddenly stabbed from the behind by Nayak.
Penthia who was stabbed on his chest, back and stomach died on the spot.
While Penthia’s relatives raised an alarm over the incident, Nayak managed to flee the spot.
Police with the help of scientific team have launched an investigation into the incident.
The murder is said to be fallout of previous enmity.
