Bolangir: The body of a man hanging from a tree near the newly-constructed CT scan center in Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in Odisha’s Bolangir district was recovered on Tuesday morning.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. It is suspected that the deceased was undergoing treatment at the hospital as he had a bandage on his head and a saline drip attached to his hand.
According to reports, security guards at the hospital spotted the body of a person hanging from a tree on the premises of the health center. The guards informed the hospital superintendent who arrived at the site with a medical team. The body was recovered by the police and sent for post-mortem.
A prescription was found from the deceased’s shirt pocket in the name of a woman named Agasthi Jani.
The police are investigating the incident.
