Bhubaneswar: Three Odisha districts – Malkangiri, Nabarangpur and Koraput have been placed on high alert in the wake of a Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district today afternoon.
According to reports, Odisha’s bordering districts with the neighbouring state are vulnerable to an influx of naxals, especially after LWEs execute such attacks. The State police has asked the districts to be vigilant towards this.
As many as 10 DRG jawans and a civilian driver were killed after an IED planted by Maoists exploded in Dantewada today.
