Boudh: Security forces have unearthed a Maoist dump in a forested area near Kanagun village under Manamunda police limits in Boudh district on Friday.
District Voluntary Force (DVF) personnel have unearthed around 230 gelatin sticks, Maoist literature and other items of day- -to-day use like toothpaste, food items, etc. from the dump.
Following reliable information about existence of a Maoist dump in a forested area nearly 500 meters from forest area Kanagun village under Manamunda police limits DVF team along with Bomb Disposal Squad conducted a joint operation.
“Around 7 in the morning today we accessed the dump and destroyed it with proper precaution. We recovered around 230 gelation sticks, Maoist literature and some basic items of day-to-day use like toothpaste, food items, etc,” informed Nagaraj Devarakonda, SP Boudh briefing reporters here today.
