Malkangiri: At least one Maoist has been killed in an exchange of fire between Maoists and police in Burkalanka forested area of Sukuma district in Chhattisgarh on Saturday.
The exchange of fire took place while DRG jawans were conducting a combing operation in the Burkalanka forested area on Malkangiri’s border with Chhattisgarh.
The other Maoists have managed to flee the area, reports said.
