Bhubaneswar: Left wing extremists today gunned down a youth at Raighar in Umerkote. The killing, according to a poster in the locality, was carried out by the Nuapada Divisional Committee of the ultras, reports stated.
The reason behind this act was involvement of the youth in felling of trees in complicity with the forest personnel, in the region, the posted noted. The deceased has been identified as Narayan Nagesh of Lakhmipur village.
