Bijapur: Maoists today released kidnapped Sub Engineer Ajay Roshan Lakra of neighbouring Chhattisgarh unhurt.
Lakra was released unhurt by the rebels in the presence of his wife and journalists from Bijapur, reports said.
The Sub Engineer was released seven days after his kidnap by the Maoists on November 11 from Gorna Mankeli in Bijapur district, reports added.
Lakra was interrogated by the Maoists for seven days in captivity and was released after his trial in a people’s court, reports further said.
