Bhubaneswar: In an unfortunate incident, a married woman and a 17-year-old minor girl were found hanging in Patimala village of Uma Panchayat under Ghantamala police station in Boudh district.
They are Ranjita Rana and Tiki Rout. Among them, Ranjita is married and Tiki is single. Both were found hanging from a tree outside the village.
Both of them live in Uma village. Villagers found them hanging from the tree in the morning and informed the police.
Police with a scientific team rushed to the spot and started an investigation at the scene.
The reason behind the death remains unclear. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, police said.
