Bhubaneswar: Passengers of S-9 compartment of Sambalpur-Jammu Tawi Express had a harrowing time on Saturday night after a group of masked robbers created terror after raiding the coach between Latehar and Barwadih stations in Jharkhand on Saturday night.
They looted cash, ornaments, and other valuable items by firing, and assaulting passengers, GRP officials said.
They stormed into the coach while the express train was on its way to Jammu Tawi from Sambalpur. They boarded the train from Latehar and committed the robbery soon after the train departed from the station.
