Jajpur: The hands behind the screens, responsible for the enhancing visual effects in the movie Brahmastra: Part One- Shiva, have played a major role in its success. The VFX in the movie, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead, has left a lasting impression on the audience.
A youth who had a part in enhancing the visual effects in the multi-crore movie hails from Bari in Jajpur district of Odisha. He is Subrat Padhi, who has already shown his talent in visual effects in television series such as Vighnaharta Ganesh, and Tenali Rama, and in the movie State of Siege.
Subrat had started editing wedding videos after his matriculation at the studio of a friend. His hunger to learn more brought him to Bhubaneswar where he enrolled in a VFX course at the Zee Institute of Creative Art (ZICA). After studying for 1 year, he started his first career in Quantico Films as Compositor.
After working there for two years he got the opportunity to work as a cartoon compositor for Byjus. He later joined a Bollywood-Hollywood studio Redefine in Mumbai and pursued his career in the VFX field. From there he got the opportunity to work in Bollywood movies and subsequently became a part of Brahmastra.
