**Bhubaneswar: ** The prevailing heat wave condition in Odisha kept on intensifying as 10 places in the State on Friday (April 20) recorded above 40 degrees Celsius while Titlagarh still dominated the scene of dubious distinction for being the hottest at 43.5 degree Celsius.
Titlagarh was followed by Bolangir at 42.6 degree Celsius and Jharsuguda at 42.4 degree Celsius.
Besides, Angul recorded a maximum temperature of 41.7 degree Celsius, Sambalpur 41.8, Hirakud 41.6, Bhawanipatna 41.0, Phulbani 40.0, Malkangiri 40.4, Sonepur 41.8, as per the weather bulletin released by Bhubaneswar Meteriological Centre.
For the fishermen, the warning goes that strong and gusty surface wind speed reaching 35 to 45 kmph is likely to prevail along and off Odisha coast. Fishermen have been advised to be cautious while venturing into the sea.
